Warning: There are 666,056,495 OPEN item_types in WF_ITEMS table that were started over 90 days ago.  

I have go thru the suggested note (Please review Doc ID 144806.1 - A Detailed Approach To Purging Oracle Workflow Runtime Data) but the purge concurrent does not reduce the number of items. The sql options provided do not complete and I get errors (**Starts**13-JUL-2018 07:48:22 **Ends**13-JUL-2018 13:55:08 ORA-01652: unable to extend temp segment by 128 in tablespace TEMP1).

What am I doing wrong?

The instance is a 12.1.3 application on AIX5L Based Systems (64-bit); with DB 12.1.0.2.0
