PT 8.56.07 Default Character Changed from Latin1 to UTF-8.

We are on HCM PUM 16 and recently upgraded to PT 8.56.07. We found that special characters are mis-represented in Application Engine output in most file types, except xlsx. It seems the default character set was changed from Latin1 to UTF-8.

We tried a test in one of our development environments by forcing the latin1 character set in the process scheduler configuration file. This would seem to fix the problem - however, this might cause some other delivered functionality to break so we will need to complete full application testing. As these special characters are also covered under UTF-8, the AE program should not remove special characters from the output file.
