Using DPK during Tools Upgrade

I have not started using DPK.  The old way, you would load tools 8.56, then run the patchset 8.56.0.

I want to start using them and want to upgrade from 8.55.25 to 8.56.  The earliest DPK I can find is 8.56.01, is this just the patch .01 or will it upgrade tools to 8.56 too?
