Peopletools 8.57

It appears that somehow my original post on this was deleted?

Oracle has indicated that the initial release of Peopletools 8.57 will be Cloud only.  On-prem will be released at a later date,

It was also stated that 8.57 will be DPK only.  There will not be a corresponding VCD version.

In my case, my server landscape is LINUX based and are administered by the company's server team and there is no way they are going to permit a DPK installation method.  Been there and done that with them already.

Using the VCD the only thing that gets installed is the toolset. It is not necessary to have root access to install or to run.
