How can you increase refresh time on the GL Work Center

We recently upgraded to Application Release: 9.2 Img 24 / Tools Release: 8.55.15 and when the user clicks on the refresh button (next to My Work) the time it takes to refresh has increased - spins for over 10 seconds....thoughts?
