our current version we are in peopletools 8.56

application version 9.2

The AWE has been customized to the route approvals based on role and route control for requisitions to be cost centre driven.

Level 1 approval Skipped for a Query Based User List WHERE requester is an approver

1) I had verified has access to the query tree RTE_CTRL_RECORD,REQ_DFLT Record via query tree added to the permission list

2)I had verified it doesn't skip if the approver is different from the requestor or have the same access (role and route control)to different user.

I would need information what needs to be checked in approval process setup in order to get auto approved and move to next step level 2
