How are others running single nVision Reports for multiple Business Units?

We are on PS 9.2 PUM 16 and PT 85512.  We have several layouts where we have decided to bring in two business units into the single layout.  We have discovered that running them together by unchecking the "from requesting business unit only" from the report request they will run, but the processing time expands tremendously when doing that.  If we keep the report unique to a single business unit and run two report request using each business unit they run in a very reasonable time.  I was just curious if others have seen this and if so what they
