Enabling non-https REN on https-PIA site

We have been mostly internal-only shop. Now we are exposing peoplesoft to outside network.

1, We have SSL certificate installed and enabled within PIA.

2. IB, Reports Posting are working fine

3. REN which is configured on non-SSL is not working on new HTTPs site. Same REN settings would work fine if i use HTTP-PIA url instead. To make everything work on HTTPS we need SSL certificate on appserver box (it is separate physical machine).

Is this a limitation? Can i not use REN-HTTP on PIA-HTTPS?

Is there any other way we can make this work?

We are on FSCM 9.2 and PT 8.55
