Does Enterprise Components Fall Under PeopleTools?

Hi Everyone,

I and some of my colleagues have run into this a few times where we have an issue with something that falls under the Enterprise Components menu path- alerts, forms, approvals, workcenters, dashboard (filters) etc. and get kind of bounced around. I am curious, does Enterprise Components fall under PeopleTools or is it really it's own category/ subspace either within MOS Community or when logging an SR?
