Best Reasons to Upgrade from 8.53 to 8.56 PeopleTools

TLDR: What are some key features added between PeopleTools 8.53 to 8.56>

BACKGROUND: We're currently on PeopleTools 8.53 and PeopleSoft HR and FIN/SCM 9.1. We've been told by Oracle Support that we can use 8.56 (or whatever the latest PeopleTools is) with 9.1. What are some great reasons to upgrade to 8.56? Here's what I have so far.


Richer API: for example, you have an EXCEL object that doesn't rely on com automation

Newer Java Libraries: the versions of the classes provided with PeopleSoft are much more recent

Newer Version of BI Publisher:
