Getting an error "The record has been changed or deleted by another user" while trying to update tas

I have a requirement to provide ability to users to update tasks. We are using JTF_TASKS_PUB.UPDATE_TASK api to update task owner, status, priority. While executing the API 2nd time, we are getting an error "JTF_TASKS_PUB.UPDATE_TASK".

Can someone please suggest.
