How to configure worklist entries so they show up in the Fluid Notification window

Hi guys.

I have been seeing that some of my AWE workflows show up in the Fluid Notifications Actions/Alerts item.

Assuming Actions require some work (i.e.must follow link and approve/deny request) on your part and Alerts are FYI updates (i.e. Your process request has completed), can somebody explain to me when a workflow item would be shown as an Action and when it would be shown as an alert?  What configuration is required?  I'm assuming that AWE, Register Transactions has some impact on this based on the settings in the Notification Options area?

Also, can you tell me why some people might see Actions and Alerts for Worklist items while others will not even though the users in question have active Worklist items being worked?
