Best practice to backing out journals.

Hello Oracle Support,

We are looking for the best way to correct the following issue.

When running the month end payroll fringe journals, one of the 3 payroll cycle was missed due to a scheduling change. The process to run the fringe journals was run again to pick up the missing cycle but, instead of only running that cycle, the process seems to have picked up all of the cycles again and is now showing that there were 5 payroll cycles in November instead of just 3. We want to consult on the best way of correcting this - do we just reverse everything including the Budget Journal and rerun the whole process? Should we
