Can anyone provide help with why the Sign Out link in the Ellipses menu disappeared after we updated

We have been in PSHR 9.2 for a while. Just recently we updated our PeopleTools from 8.56.06 to 8.56.12. Afterwards, we have various reports of people who lost the Sign out link in the ellipses menu. Our first passes of having people close browsers and clear cache files did nothing to help.
Our DBA did fully bounce all servers but some people still have the Sign out link and others don't, even after closing their browsers and clearing their cache followed the server refresh.
Nothing changed with security for those who lost the link. Some people with the same Row security had different results. What else should we check? The link showing below is what is missing for some.
