ITC Process claim - invoice in current month but the goods are received in next month
Hi All
I have a question about the India GST Input Tax Credit process claim, Where say supplier sends the goods in the last day of the month and the goods are actually received in next month.
1. As a receiver when the GST return is filed for the current month, i cannot claim the ITC as the goods are not received in the current month and need to keep it pending atleast till the next month return.
2. In oracle we navigate to the process claim form in order to record the ITC claim.
3. When the ITC is claimed, apart from other fields we need to enter the tax invoice date. we need to enter the invoice date a given by the supplier (which will be current month).
