Requesting feedback from entities using PeopleSoft’s delivered LDAP- User Profile Maps* functionality.

If you are using PeopleSoft's Directory Authentication and have implemented the User Profile Maps functionality to create PeopleSoft (PS) User Profiles from values stored in the Directory server (e.g., Active Directory) we are interested in hearing about your experiences.

  1. Is your entity/business satisfied with creating User Profiles from Directory accounts?
  2. Have you experienced any issues with creating accounts this way?
  3. We have prototyped updating the FUNCLIB_LDAP > LDAP_PROFILESYNCH function to also assign PS Campus Solutions user defaults (Operator Default / Security tables).  If you assigned this security how did you do it?
