Would like to know what is the difference between Oracle Retail Integration Cloud Service(RICS) and

Would like to understand the differences between RICS and ICS, Client bought RICS along with Cloud Financials and Retail Merchandise cloud.  can we use RICS as middleware between Cloud financials and 3rd part on-prem legacy application?
