Project dependencies

I am currently working on a project for IHUB (indirectly, the project is in CS) that connects to a lot of other projects managed by other development teams. When performing an update from one environment to another, I often run into issues where objects that I am using in my project have dependencies that are not very clear. For instance, if I am using a view from another project, it may have SQL or other Record definitions it depends on that I will not find out until I attempt to build in the target environment (builds fail, migration window is
