Experiencing Endless Spinning Wheel with IE 11 and PeopleTools 8.56 with Search Dialog

Hi PeopleSoft Friends,

We are experiencing issues with Search functionality in our PeopleTools 8.56 environment (HRM).    When user clicks Return to Search, sorts a Search Dialog box, Searches in a Prompt table etc. , there is an intermittent issue where the spinning wheel goes round and round and never stops.  The user has to close the browser session and log back in to get back to work.

This is happening on many different components.  All have Classic Plus enabled.

This is ONLY happening when using the IE  browser.  We are on IE 11.

We are currently on PUM 26.

Is anyone else experiencing this??
