Disabling Auto Close FYI flag not working

We have a WF mailer named 'GLBATCH WF Mailer' which will handle item types of 'GLBATCH'.

As per our customer business requirement we don’t want to auto close FYI notifications related to GLBATCH, So as per note Doc ID 1634776.1 we have disabled the 'Auto close FYI' flag and bounced WF services.

But even after this setup GLBATCH FYI notifications are getting closed automatically.

Any idea what could be the issue.
