is a DHCP client in Solaris 10 zones possible?

Hi!

I want to know if it is basically possible to use a DHCP client in a Solaris 10 zone, with exclusive IP configured.

I must admit, the OS release is not patched to the latest possible release, it's kind of old (it's a Jenkings build environment with old dependency stuff etc.) ... and maybe this is the reason why the hostname is not being known on the (Linux) DHCP server at the end (after zone boot).

On the DHCP server, we don't see any hint (log) that the zone sends useful DHCP requests, it looks like the hostname from the zone is not being sent when the zone boots.

Howdy, Stranger!
