How to progress messages stuck in the wf_notification_in queue
Messages are 'PROCESSED' state in wf_notification_out queue. They are in 'READY' in the WF_NOTIFICATION_IN queue. Messages can be processed from the worklist. They are not working from email.
All wf messages, even alerts are affected. I sent a test message from the workflow OAM page. It came to my email box. I 'acknowledged' it. The message went to the mailers inbox, then processed folder. It status was "Open" mail_status 'SENT'. I clicked the message in my worklist. It 'closed' it.
There are more messages than I can count in this state.
This started with an internet outage. An Exchange was affected. We use exchange for smtp mail and imap for dovecot for imap email. I was not told of the internet/email outage last week. Only that workflow was not working.
