Multiple Email Templates on same transaction Event on AWE

Hi

I am attaching the screen shot of our configuration where requirement is to configure another email template for certain set of group or users. In vendor AW configuration we have 3 steps where step 1 should get different email template than step 2 & 3. A new generic template created for step 1 and added in the transaction configuration on same event (Route for Approval) as a Dynamic participant. (Approver participant still has regular template)

However this configuration looks to be not working.

For Step 1, approver should received email template configured in Dynamic participant which is not happening and they are receiving email template configured for Approver participant.
