Requiring a Period of Performance (POP) for Service Type Contracts

Questions for the user group:

1) Do you want to see POP required for all service lines on CLM awards? If no, why? (What is the valid use case...see more on that below).

2) If your answer to #1 is "No", then would you support the idea of making this a configuration, where the seeded functionality would remain as-is, but if needed, instead of using a custom hook, a functional consultant could mark the field as "required" ? (this should have no impact on anyone)

BACKGROUND: GPO wants CLM to require a POP whenever there is a service line (i.e. not allow submission for approval without it). Currently the system looks for either a need-by date or POP.  As long as one of those fields is there, it is considered a valid award. GPO would not recognize the document as a valid contract if there was a service line without a POP.
