Classic Worklist , Fluid Notification Not Syncing Information , Need way to dismiss Notification if

We are using Worklist and Notifications. Now that PS has 2 separate Notifications system there should be a way to keep them in sync.  If AWE and it is an approval it will adjust both worklist and notification. But once approved entry is approved/denied the requestor gets notified on the worklist /notification. User marks one side as worked/dismissed the other side is still there. So a user needs to mark both sides.   Need away to keep the Notifications in sync .
