how to change complex pack item to simple pack from back-end in V16.

in Retail Merchandising System (MOSC) Question

We want to change complex pack item to simple pack from back-end in V16. These items were created from external system. Merchandise Hierarchy is same for all component items.  Changing simple_pack_ind will suffice or few other tables needs to be updated?
