AWE Journal Approvals

Has anyone who is using AWE for Journal approvals ever linked their PERSONAL_DATA with HRMS via the Integration Broker services?  I see there is an integration delivered so the Financial modules can use the employee information and we are looking to start this synchronization.  Any success? failure? gotchas?
