EDI: CUM management for Suppliers

Hi,

We are on 12.1.3. Trying to implement EDI supplier integration via e-Commerce gateway,

Using two document types:  SPSO and SSSO  releases/schedule to send to Suppliers.

Question:

Can we send total CUM quantity for expected ship date at item level?

If so .please advise how would that process be effective vs sending discrete quantities in the releases.

Process below is what we receive/inbouce from customer releases into RLM-> OM. Similar thing for CUM Qty can we do while sending our PO releases to Suppliers ( SPSO and SSSO ).

------Inbound from Customers-------------

Currently we do have a customers who sends us CUM quantities on their releases instead of discrete quantities. Doing so, when we process those releases through release management, Demand processor is converting CUM quantities to discrete quantities, and also when they change their CUM, we do have a detailed information of expected CUM as of expected ship date. This helps us eliminate the discrepancies of Customer CUM vs our internal CUM.
