admin-security accidentally turned on - 4600 with 8.1 software

when standing up one of the session border controllers (4600 platform, software is 8.0) admin-security was accidentally disabled. We're trying to figure out the best way to revert that. Simply disabling it doesn't do it. Should we download a different version of code, down grade it, then upgrade it again? Is there some way that's easier?
