Applying PI30 patches, Reviewing ADS Managed Objecs Compare question

I'm applying patches from Update Image 30 and the step 'Reviewing the Compare Reports (8.56 and below) says

'The ADS Managed Objects Compare process can be viewed using the Peopletools-Lifecycle-Tools-Migrate Data-Data Migration Workbench Component in your Target Database PIA.

When I go there it says:

'This project was loaded by CA so it may not be accessible for validation, compare or copy from file. And the compare box is greyed out.

So why did the CA say to go there to view the compare? And how can I see the compare reports then?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
