PeopleSoft 8.56 LDAP Authentication

Looking for friendly advice - surely I'm missing something simple.

We looking into changing to LDAP authentication for PeopleSoft.  Just simple AD domain credential authentication.

Our environment:

OPRID has always been FirstInitialLastName (TNIXON).  Active directory for the most part is the same.  We never delete OPRID from PeopleSoft for obvious audit purposes, however sometimes the AD group will recycle domain names when employees leave the company.

My concern is that my TNIXON account has elevated PeopleSoft privileges and has performed sensitive transactions within PS.  If I leave the company my TNIXON peoplesoft account will be disabled and eventually another TNIXON (let's say Tyler Nixon) enters the company and the AD group recycles that account.
