Urgent help - Change encryption algorithm in 8.57 to be the 8.56 encryption algorithm. Is this doab

We are currently using SecureAuth with PT 8.55.

We are upgrading to PT8.57 and we got the error below when logged in to Peoplesoft -

Caught Exception: Java Exception: java.lang.NegativeArraySizeException: during call of psft.pt8.pshttp.PSCipher.decodePassword

Later, we got the response from SecureAuth that they do not support PT8.57, and they suggested us to change the 8.57 encryption algorithm to be the 8.56 encryption algorithm. Is this doable?

We already had a case (SR 3-20306886941) there but have not heard anything back.
