FLUID: SQL error displayed when I click the lookup icon for a date field.

I have a date field in a Fluid page whose prompt is controlled via a dynamic view. The view sql is populated at runtime. Now, when I enter an invalid date (a value that is not there in the prompt), I get the usual invalid value error. After this I click on the lookup icon to open the search modal. When the search modal comes up, I get a SQL error.
