Migration of DB2 on Linux to MS SQL Server DB

We are looking to replace DB2 on Linux next year.  I'm trying to determine if we move to MS SQL Server DB do we need to also transition the Web servers, App Servers and Process Schedulers to Windows servers also or can we still run these services on Linux servers?  This is for FSCM 92 and most likely we'd upgrade to PeopleTools 8.58.xx.
