Applicant Login Page - Password issue

From the page HRS_CE_HMP_REG, when an applicant enter their password and press tab, the password is cut to 3 chars. I tried to find any Field-related code for this but I didn't see any codes that changes the password. I looked for both record peoplecode and component record peoplecode.

I thought it's just a security-feature that changes the number of * in the password field so that length of password will be hidden but even putting the correct password, when it is trimmed down to 3 *, it's failing to login.

I did inspect the field and this is what I get.
