Is it possible to capture a prompt list item during a page field prompt?

Hi there.

I had an interesting request today that I have been trying to see if I can address and I'm hoping I may have overlooked some existing functionality that will allow this in PeopleTools 8.56.09

I was asked if instead of using an EMPLID prompt we could allow the user to enter a name in to a prompt yet capture the related list box EMPLID value and place that into another field on the page.

They wanted to do this to speed up data entry in a complex page so saving extra clicks to press the prompt, search for the name are less desired.
