Integration Broker node setup between HR and Finance Error message - Asynchronous Message Handler: A

We use Finance and HR.  When Finance was on a higher version of PeopleTools then in HR, a remote gateway was setup to access the Finance gateway.

We now have Finance and HR on the same version of PeopleTools, so we are assuming that a remote gateway in either system is not needed.  The Finance node was added to the HR LOCAL gateway (in HR) and the Finance node pings successfully.  When the HR node was added to the Finance LOCAL gateway (in Finance), we are getting the error message "Asynchronous Message Handler: Access denied. Target and source message node passwords do not match."    I updated the HR node passwords in FInance to match that in HR but still getting the same message.  Any suggestions?
