Easy way to put a Pivot Grid in a Navigation Collection?

Hi folks,

I wanted to see if there was an easy way to add a Pivot Grid as something that could be viewed within a nav collection.

Some background:

We have modified the delivered Payroll tile nav collection to give employees access to a query-based pagelet that shows them detail on their Addl Pay earnings.

We want to create another way to give them access to detail on all their earnings (greater than can be seen on the pay advice).

Ideally, we'd like to do it without serious development!

I was going to go down the query-based pagelet route, but that is sort of simple, and we wanted to see if we could show the pay check date with a sum of the earnings, and then have the employee drill into the pay check date of their choice.
