Timesheet stuck on submitted status

Hi,

I have an issue with a user's timesheet that is stuck on submitted for approval status and no active workflow exists for the timesheet, we have tried to delete and recapture the timesheet but as soon as we submit it, it goes to submitted for approval and not approved status.

Kindly please assis
