Receive/Match release when purchase agreement expired.

Hi Colleagues,

Would you please advice me if this is a correct business behavior,  Once the Purchase Agreement is expired/End date  you will be no longer able to Receive or Match

The Approved Blanket release related to the expired agreement. is this a bug or a correct business behavior ?

We were advised from business it's wrong behavior, the system should allow to receive/Match the approved PO although the related PA expired,
