Is it possible to alias a PeopleSoft Node Name

I am in the beginning stages of setting up Performance Monitor for Campus Solutions.  Part of this setup involves assigning node definitions and defining those nodes on the defalt local gateway in Performance Monitor to allow configuration data to flow from Performance Monitor to each of the nodes (monitored systems.)

We have planned to build one performance monitor instance per product starting with Campus Solutions.  Within Campus Solutions, we have 4 systems - DEV, QNA, PPD and Production.  Within each system, the default local node is the same.  This makes it easier for use to migrate projects between environments.  The routings do not need to change from one to another.
