ERMS mailbox connection issue
We use HR Help Desk and we use the GETMAILTARGET connector for our ERMS system which connects to our Exchange servers. Our mail system is upgrading to cloud based at Microsoft, and we now have problems using some mail boxes. As the mailboxes are being migratged, we are told the IMAP connection now rejects basic authentication because the password is in clear text.
What other IMAP authentication methods are available? Is the password for the mailbox sent in cleartext over the network?
We are on an older Peopletools 8.53.
