Event Mapping - cannot map subrecords?

PeopleTools 8.57.04

We're moving custom code to event mapping.  One FieldChange event we have is on a custom subrecord.  When I tried to map the event, the field doesn't show in the field that is in the custom record.

I checked PeopleBooks and I didn't see this limitation/restriction.

Does anyone have a list of what you cannot do in PeopleTools 8.57.04 event mapping?
