JVM to use with production PeopleSoft

In the distant past i remember using jrockit for production instances peopletools/peoplesoft PIA on weblogic.  Is this still recommended?  As far as i know jrockit is depreciated as of JDK6 however, the WLS12 documentation still states that jrockit is recommended for production instances.  On the other hand, Peopletools DPK 8.56 installation installs SE by default.  Any clarity would be appreciated, thank you.
