Difference between reports - scheduled process vs manual run

Hello, can someone please explain to me why some reports can be run by users manually from the Reports and Analytics folder inside the Oracle UI and some reports are only available through Scheduled processes for a schedule? (ie: Promise Reconciliation Report)
