Users unhappy with Classic Plus

Since our recent "Get Current" project took us to HCM PUM30/PT 8.57.06, and main recurring feedback from our users has been in relation to Classic Plus ("can this be returned to normal" is a common question).

The issue is primarily the fact that on components such as Job Data (ie back office administrator data entry screens) users are having to scroll around the pages far more than before. Our users are all office-based using desktop PCs, so to them Fluid provides absolutely no benefits and just negatives.

Has anyone had this kind of feedback before and have any advice or ideas on how to deal with this? I guess turning off Classic Plus on these components is one (customisation) option. Another would be to update the Classic Plus stylesheet to reduce the amount of screen real estate each field/element takes, but neither of these are simple or desirable, so any thoughts wo
