Docuemnt sequence is missing in some entries

We have PS Campus Solution and PS Financials. We have done integration setup between Student Financials (SF) and General Ledger (GL) modules to move the data from SF to GL.

When we run the "Generate Journal Process" it created entries but document sequence number is missing for some entries. What could be the reason of this and how to resolve the issue.
