How to display the DB Name on the landing page with tools 8.56+

Prior to 8.56 you were able to customize the PTBR_BRANDING AppPackage to display the DB and user name on the landing page.

In 8.56 this customization no longer works even if you are still using Classic.  I mean you can make the change and it "appears" to work but eventually you will get a PeopleCode compile error as this package is called in tons of components.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who may have developed alternatives to this?
