Do reboot App server was necessary after database reboot?
In our PS system(HCM 9.2 with PT 8.54.36) every time when the database reboot, we have to restart the PeopleSoft application server, otherwise, few of the AWE instances would work with exception. For example, the AWE process "Job Offer", after the approver approved the AWE workflow, it didn't send to the next approvers, the status of the next step was "Not Routed".
This happened many times, every time when the database have to be restarted with some exception, some of the delivered AWE instances (not all) would not work well if we didn't restart the application server.
And I heard that rebooting App server was necessary in older tools versions. and in 8.56 or higher that app server reboot may not be required after the DB boot up.
