Confusion about IAMSuiteAgent

edited Nov 18, 2019 4:03AM in Identity Management (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Hi,

I have worked with OAM for awhile, but haven't worked with, or investigated using, IAMSuiteAgent at all (until now), but now that I AM looking into it, I am really confused.

So my understanding is that IAMSuiteAgent is supposed to be able protect Oracle IDM products (e.g., OAM console, WebLogic, etc.) and provide SSO among those products.  I also have the impression that IAMSuiteAgent is enabled out-of-the-box.

However, when I log into my OAM Console (/oamconsole), I don't see an OAMAuthnCookie or ObSSOCookie in my browser.

What I do see is an OAMSESSIONID cookie and an ADMINCONSOLESESSION cookie.  Also, I cannot SSO between (for example) the WebLogic Console (/console) and the OAM Console (/oamconsole) at all.

Howdy, Stranger!
